1970s GPlan Sideboard

1970s GPlan Sideboard

Modernise your sideboard - you can combine the original wood with a colour to complement each other

Sideboards used to be a thing of the past, seen as old fashioned. They have made a resurgence in recent years though, as they can be very useful items of furniture, used for storage and they can be the perfect height for the modern size TV.

Oak Kitchen Doors Undergo Transformation

Oak Kitchen Doors Undergo Transformation

Traditional style oak doors can really date a kitchen - a neutral colour is popular so you can dress the room to your taste.

Two-Tone Grey

Two-Tone Grey

Grey is very fashionable at the moment and this customer went one step further, having a two tone effect.

One reason to have your kitchen spray finished is to update it. A two-tone effect is an option and grey is a classic choice, being very in vogue. This customer went for colour matches to Farrow and Ball's Downpipe (the darker grey) and Manor House Grey (the lighter colour).

Metal Spray Finishing

Aged copper small chest of drawers

We have developed a technique where we are able to put a metal on to timber so you can have a metal surface to any shape. This can be aged or shined up, but is an actual metal - aluminium, bronze, brass, copper or even rusted iron. It can be textured or smooth.

Optician's Shop Fittings

Optician's Shop Fittings

A transformation from mahogany to fashionable grey

Mucklow & Hardy in Lincoln had expensive mahogany shop fittings which were out of date, being too heavy in colour. When the new owners took over, they wanted to refurbish but appreciated the quality of the fittings, so they chose a Farrow and Ball colour, Manor House Grey, and we colour matched it in furniture grade, durable lacquer. We resprayed the main cabinets, keeping the work surfaces mahogany with a clear coat for a two tone effect.

1940s Bureau Restoration

A complete transformation for a 1940s bureau

Our customer had sentimental attachment to this 1940s bureau, but it was in very bad condition and she didn't know how to make it fit in with her decor. We repaired it and then sprayed it with a furniture grade lacquer in a colour match to a Farrow and Ball paint, complimenting one that was used in her hall.
